Grades are a calculated on a point scale then converted to a percentage. In-class listening forums: 5% x 4= 20% Question worksheets: 5% X 2= 10% Conversation day midterm: 20% Communication concept practice participation: 4% x 5= 20% Native English listening session: 10% Communication skills check: 20% Most assignments are in-class meaning that students will receive a worksheet to be completed during the class and turned in at the end of the period. An absence will mean that the student cannot receive the worksheet and、 thus、 cannot complete the assignment or receive points toward their final grade. |
担当教員から | ★J.J. Drakos Hello and welcome to our second semester of English communication. In this class you will be continuing your communication skill training from 1st semester. It is、 again、 very important that all of you participate as much as possible so that you may improve your speaking skills. Remember、 I would like you to think of me as a “coach” rather than a “teacher". Attendance is very important to this class. Attendance checking will be difficult as the class will probably be very large. Therefore、 students will have an attendance sheet they must fill out every class. Students should pick up their attendance sheet at the beginning of the class、 fill out the necessary information and turn it in at the end of class to receive credit for the class. |
