Department of Physical Therapy
(Student intake: 40)
The Department of Physical Therapy offers a systematic course in which students first study the basics of physical therapy, understand the characteristics of disabilities, and then learn methods and skills for evaluating and remedying disabilities and providing support.
To cultivate a professional identity as a physical therapist, various forms of clinical practice start in the freshman year at the university hospital, thus connecting the education provided in classes and in clinics.
The school expects students to develop a passion for life-long learning and to become physical therapists who are actively involved in many fields of healthcare, medical care, and welfare.
