(授業概要)
帰国子女や各種英語検定試験等で優れた英語力を身につけている学生を対象とし、英語講読I・実用英語の代わりに履修する。1年次初めに面接・テストにより選抜する。授業概要は英語講読I・実用英語に準ずるが、より広範囲で高度な英語力を養成する。

Maintenance of existing English communication skills and development of higher-level skills

1 Can read advanced-level written texts.
2 Can understand radio and television news broadcasts
3 Can describe and explain content of articles and programmes
4 Can discuss and debate ideas and issues raised in articles and programmes

ENGLISH SP is an advanced class for students who have extensive experience of using the language in real-life situations. The class is conducted entirely in English, and as there are usually only a few students in the class you will spend a lot of time talking yourselves, as well as taking an active part in choosing topics and texts that you wish to study and talk about.
